Imam Ibn Al Qayyim RA said : Shaykh Ul Islam (Ibn Taymiyyah) used to race towards the fulfilling of people’s needs very earnestly, because he knew that everytime he helped someone else, Allah would help him.

‘Anyone who reflects upon himself about his sins and hates them and tries to negate them from himself and leaves them for Allaah’s sake, then he increases in rectification, goodness and piety.’

❝I witnessed Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah -may Allah purify his soul- when he would go out to the Jumma prayer he would take whatever he could find at home of bread etc and he would give that in charity secretly on his way to the prayer.

I heard him say: ‘If Allaah has ordered us to give charity before privately consulting the Messenger of Allaah [when he was alive], then privately consulting Allaah [تعالى] is better and foremost in excellence.'❞

Whoever wore beautiful garments to make Allah’s blessings apparent & to use them for obedience to Allah, would be rewarded.

What can my enemies do to me? I have in my breast both my heaven and my garden. If I travel they are with me, never leaving me. Imprisonment for me is a chance to be alone with my Lord. To be killed is martyrdom and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey.

“It is befitting for the servant to be firm, patient and have a constant connection to that which has within the remembrance (of Allaah) and the prayer. He should not become weary, for indeed with consistently holding fast to that, the plot of the Shaytaan will leave from him.

Everything that Allah has prohibited is a type of oppression. Everything that Allah has commanded is a form of Justice.
